Arborvita Leaf

Arborvita Leaf is part of the Regulate Blood, Stop Bleeding category. It is slightly cool, enters the Lung, Liver, and Large Intestine channels, and tastes astringent and bitter.
Functions:
- Cools the blood and stops bleeding
- Stops cough and dispels phlegm
- Aids in healing burns and treats hair loss
Indications:
- Vomiting blood, bleeding gums, coughing blood, blood in the stool or urine, uterine bleeding
- Viscous, difficult to expectorate sputum streaked with blood
- Early stages of burns over a small to the moderate area; hair loss
Contraindications: cautioned in bleeding with deficiency
Dosage: 6-15g
