Anxiety
In Chinese medicine, anxiety is seen as a disorder that results from an imbalance in the body. It is typically associated with the Heart and shen, as well as the Liver and Kidneys. This disorder can be caused by heat and constraint or by deficiencies in the Heart, yin, or blood. Anxiety becomes a pathological disorder when it repeatedly disrupts daily life, is irrational, or lasts for an extended period of time.
